My current project is to scan 40 years of home improvement receipts, but I bought a cheap multifunction printer that was incompatible with my Linux operating system. VueScan to the rescue - it works perfectly with Linux, but even better with my Ipad: just scan and save to Dropbox. Love it.

Im totally new to scanning and the learning curve is steep without a ScanVue Mobile users guide, which I dont be finding. Thrashing around with the limited obvious buttons is not getting me anywhere. Nice pictures though.

Ive been using Vuescan on Mac since its inception. The mobile app continues the tradition of excellence.

Doesnt work and no help to get it to work from their tech support. Useless...

Have been using VueScan for a couple years and it is my "goto" App for scanning docs. Easily connects to HP AirPrint - printer/scanner and simple controls make this app a pleasure to use. Very reliable even with 5 to 10 page docs.

Works w all scanners. A useful productivity app.

The app doesnt support larger scanners (anything above letter-size) and the developer doesnt respond to emails. I guess I need to search for a new scanner app. Bummer, because Vuescan used to be good.

VueScan makes me happy every time I use it - when I start it up it latches onto the printer/scanner (a Canon MP620) on our home network, is instantly ready to scan, and performs flawlessly - the scanner is easier to use from my iPhone than from my laptop - so much so that I often end up scanning with VueScan on my phone and then transferring the files to my laptop via Dropbox.

I would have given this app 5 stars except it has taken since Christmas 2013 for the developers to fix an issue where it would not work with the iPad Air and my scanner. Seems support is a little lacking. So that drags it down to about a 3 1/2. So Ill round it up to 4. The app was working just fine with my scanner and my original iPad (THE original iPad). But after receiving a iPad Air as a Christmas present I found it failed to scan. The new iPad could do everything else with my printer just not scan which is what this app should do. So now after a new ios has been released and they release support for it the issue is finally resolved. Everything now seems to be working exactly as it did prior to my iPad upgrade. I would recommend this app. I use it to scan important records and then I can fax them from my iPad.

It just flat out works. Installed it the first time and worked immediately. Changed scanners and no issues, it just worked again. Easy.

I really like how I can scan from my iPhone and then upload or email my scans without having to fuss with my PC. It works great with my OfficeJet L7590, which is about 7 years old but still kicking. The app is stable and I havent had any issues with it whatsoever. VueScan plus OneDrive makes a perfect duo for me.

Just what I was looking for! Now I can use my HP scanner without souping up my PC.

I use this app daily to Scan all my paperwork into my Evernote. It crashes constantly! That being said, I still want to love it. 3 stars for how useful and easy it is. 5 stars after all the crashing stops.

Vue Scan is simple and easy to use.

Love it...idiot proof.

Works better than the pro version on my Mac IMO. Definitely worth the $5

Had an HP which would sometimes work and other times it would not which had to do with HP. Got a new Canon today and it works just as it was intended too.

This app works great with my Canon multifunction printer/scanner: supports document feeder (even double-sided) and multiple resolutions. Scans using the iPhone camera are clear too, and its better than most scanning apps at finding the corners of a skewed document. It can upload scans to a wide range of services - great for scanning to Dropbox. Ive tried a bunch of scanner apps, but this is my current favorite.

Mr Hamrick produced top notch apps, including Vueprint, with still no competion on PCs. Unfortunately, Ive written for help on the mobile paid app, multiple times and have not received a response. Vuescan works with traditional scanners but appears to fall flat using the iPhone camera.

Terrific tool to scan your pix and docs from your mobile device to your air printer. GH
